FAQ
Which format is smallest?
AVIF, then WebP, then JPG. PNG is lossless and usually the largest, but it's best for graphics with sharp edges or transparency.
Why is AVIF missing?
Your browser has to support encoding AVIF. Recent Chrome does. If it's missing from the list, use WebP instead.
Will transparency be kept?
PNG, WebP and AVIF keep transparency. JPG doesn't support it, so transparent areas turn white.
